Rates

In accordance with Ontario Regulation 94/14 under the Administration of Justice Act


(Effective April 1, 2022 – Current as of October 2025)

All Ontario court transcripts must be prepared and certified by an Authorized Court Transcriptionist (ACT) appointed by the Ministry of the Attorney General. The following rates are set by provincial regulation and apply across Ontario.

​​The greater of $25.00 or:

  • $6.30 per page — standard delivery (more than 5 business days)

  • $8.80 per page — delivery within 5 business days

  • $11.75 per page — delivery within 24 hours

  • $7.10 per page — standard delivery (more than 5 business days)

  • $9.60 per page — delivery within 5 business days

  • $12.55 per page — delivery within 24 hours

​If a proceeding has already been transcribed by another Authorized Court Transcriptionist:

 

Electronic copy:
• No charge if ordered with a paper copy
• $25.00 flat fee if ordered separately

 

Paper copy:
• The greater of $25.00 or $0.80 per page

* Expedited and 24-hour service commences upon receipt of the recording. Please note that rulings, reasons for sentence or judgment, and endorsements are subject to judicial review prior to release, which may impact delivery timelines.
